The role of the Account Strategist is to assist the Group Strategy Director and Strategy Directors in their effort to represent the consumer to the agency as marketing communications and other agency deliverables are developed. Leveraging consumer insights, the Account Strategist assists in the development of consultative materials that connect client customers with client brands. Examples of these materials include strategic briefs, creative briefs, messaging architectures, customer journey maps and strategic Point of View (POV) documents. The account strategist also participates in client-sponsored, primary and secondary research projects. This involves a consultative approach to methodology and design, and includes fielding, reporting and analysis where applicable.
