QA Engineer II


The QA Engineer II is responsible for providing daily coordination of QA tasks with various teams. Assisting to identify areas where QA is lacking and necessary. Brainstorming to determine best QA practices and tools to use for various clients. Building, maintaining regular tests cases, test suites, and managing automation frameworks

You will be responsible for providing and promoting quality standards, methods and practices; this includes quality planning, test management and executing test plans relating to new development or solutions we provide to our clients. This can include but is not limited to web sites, extranets, ecommerce sites, email marketing, APIs, Data & Dashboards and more.

Duties and Responsibilities

QA Methodologies, Practices and Processes

  • Works with Project Team Members to accurately scope and estimate project work
  • Works with project leads to establish, develop and plan project strategy and approach
  • Participates in requirements reviews and internal design reviews
  • Participates in analysis and testing activities, as required by project/resource allocations
  • Participates in the evaluation and selection of tools and applications
  • Participates in reviewing, improving and creating best practices documentation
  • Ability to Develop, Debug and maintain test scripts, test cases, and automations

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in testing, general development knowledge as well as be able to work positively in a fast pace environment
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing and various methodologies; Experience in creating and managing test plans
  • Understanding of different codebases; Salesforce experience a plus
  • Good troubleshooting skills - must be willing to find the answer, search for a solution
  • Must be a self-driven, quick learner and have the ability to adapt on the fly; Must be outspoken, open minded and good at critical thinking
  • Experience in agile Methodologies such as scrum or Kanban as well as CICD concepts
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with business and technical resources

Oral and Written Communication

  • Regularly attends and participates in project and team meetings
  • Sets up QA Strategy/Test Plans and other artifacts as needed
  • Educates organization about QA standards, best practices and emerging trends
  • Reviews and offers feedback on QA deliverables
  • Works with management to achieve company business goals and targets
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Adherence to TA’s information security standards, as outlined in company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
